Who: John Loomis
What: Freelance photography
Where: New York City, Washington D.C., or on location anywhere around the world (I've been a whole lot of places for no time at all)
Why: Because I love it, but more specifically because I'm passionate about meeting people and telling stories through the craft of photography; and attempting to use pictures to help others and myself better understand and appreciate the world and people around us. Also and maybe more importantly, I just like having fun, connecting and working with smart/cool people, kicking it on the road, and searching for the good light/life.
How: Getting dirty and sweaty, working fast and hard, listening to clients and subjects, solving problems and turning mistakes into new ideas, being open to chance/kismet/luck, and then piling on as much energy and passion as possible.
